HOW DOES TV PILOT FACTORY WORK? 

ROUND 1 – VOTING FORWARD

At TV PILOT FACTORY© we start with an “Original Sitcom Pilot Script” written by a top tier Writer.  Over the course of three weeks six (6) CAST from acting schools, acting classes or open casting perform the “Original Pilot Script” before a LIVE Audience.

Each CAST is known by a color, RED, BLUE, GOLD, TEAL, GREEN and PURPLE.

After each CAST performance the LIVE Audience votes for their six (6) favorite Actors to move forward to the next round.  These votes which carry the most weight are added to the INTERNET AUDIENCE votes and six actors from each cast are chosen to move to ROUND 2.

ROUND 2 – THE DRAFT 

The actors that were voted forward by the LIVE/INTERNET AUDIENCE are placed into a pool.  From this pool the two (2) DIRECTORS (one may be the writer) take turns and DRAFT their own cast.

The two Director’s CAST are known as CAST (X) and (Z) respectively.

After the DRAFT TV PILOT FACTORY goes dark to allow for the writer to punch-up the script and CAST (X) and (Z) to rehearse with their respective Directors.

ROUND 3 – DIRECTORS CAST

CAST (X) and (Z) return and perform the newly punched-up “Sitcom Pilot Script” before a LIVE Audience. 

At the conclusion of both performances the LIVE AUDIENCE VOTES for the best actor for each role and the best Director.  This is known as the MASTER CAST and the MASTER DIRECTOR.

 

MASTER CAST

Now that the MASTER CAST and DIRECTOR have been chosen, TV PILOT FACTORY goes dark to allow for the WRITER to put the finishing touches on the FINAL DRAFT and the MASTER CAST to rehearse with the MASTER DIRECTOR.

The MASTER CAST returns and performs before a LIVE Audience.

The entire process takes seven to nine weeks to complete and along the way everyone has had tons of fun. The Directors have honed their skills, the Actors have mastered their roles and the Writer has tightened his “Original Sitcom Pilot” and  TV PILOT FACTORY has a top quality script, cast and product.
